Mommy & Me Parties

December 4, 2017 by Lynn

Ever heard of a ‘Mommy & Me’ Party? Let me tell you all about it. Sometimes it’s really hard to take care of the kids and get together with girlfriends since the hubby is working so hard and sometimes can’t help out. Therefore, the best solution to combine the two and make the best of the time you have. It’s also not always that easy just to cope when trying to sort out everything and be a mom at once. No matter what, remember to put your health first as your children depend on this. This Research Verified review will tell you more. So, how exactly do you combine time spent with the kids and the girls? Here’s the solution: Have a ‘Mommy & Me’ Party. This is the perfect combination of parties to maximise the time you have and allow everyone both young and old to have some fun!

The Kids’ Party

Firstly, invite all the girls over and ask them to bring their kids. Then hire a babysitter and a children’s make-up lady – literally someone you know well just to look after the kids while they play and another to create fun designs on their faces, which they will love of course! What you need to prepare for the kids:

  • Art station – Make sure there are fun things for the kids to design and play with. Kids and arts & crafts go well together. Have paper out, paints and crayons. Also include playdough and cookie cutters that the kids can use.
  • Dress up station – In the corner have a big trunk full of dress-up clothes that the children can have fun with pretending to be whomever they please and have a jolly good time at it too.
  • Books – Kids also love just sitting down to read books. You should have an array of books out and big cushions on the floor so that the kids can just plop onto them, rest, read and enjoy!
  • Food – This is one of the most important factors of the party. Without food, the kids are going to come and disturb you as they please because we all know what it’s like when kids are hungry right? They don’t stop until they get what their poor bellies want. Have healthy alternatives out besides the chips and sweets like blocks of cheese, carrot sticks and hummus, strawberries and bananas. Just don’t serve food that the children can choke on such as baby tomatoes and grapes.

Whatever you do, don’t let all this planning stress you out and if need be take time out to relax or take a natural supplement to aid relaxation.

Fun With The Girls

In a separate area of the house have your girlfriends over. You could relax in pj’s or do makeovers with great hair ideas for moms. This is a fun time to catch-up and even have a virgin cocktail or two! Have dishes of lovely snacks available and get ready to just have fun while sharing stories with some of your best friends. A great idea is to also have a movie ready. Have something fun that all of you can relate to – a movie like Bad Moms which will certainly keep you all giggling.

Finally, at the end combine the two groups and have fun spending time with your little one whilst your friends do the same with theirs’. All in all, it will be a weekend well spent where bonding time will not only have occurred with those friends closest to you but where you gave your children a special treat and got to spend precious time with them as well.
