It’s January, and I’m guessing a lot of you have already made New Year’s resolutions to get healthy, maybe lose weight, and join a gym? That was me last year, when I decided to re-join our local YMCA.
The fact that I can take my girls, put them in the child watch, and have up to two hours to work out is a blessing. There are multiple exercise machines and weights to use, and what I enjoy most are the group classes. I’ve tried a few different classes myself, but always end up going back to Zumba. Exercising while dancing and having fun is my stress relief all-in-one.
I almost thought about quitting recently, but really my motivation goes out the door, unless I get myself to the gym each week.
No matter what exercise routine you’re planning on trying, or maybe you already rock it at the gym, looking and feeling great is important, at least to me it is. The last thing I want to be stressing over is my work-out clothes, when my main focus should be on my health and my exercise.
Here are five different outfits I put together from Old Navy’s line of active clothing. Although each are categorized, any of these outfits would work for any gym occasion. It’s all about what feels great on YOU!
– For the Runner –

– For Step Class –

– For Yoga –

– For Cycling –

– For Zumba Class –

Later this week I will be stopping by my local Old Navy store. Stay tuned because next week I will show you a few pieces I picked out, to wear to Zumba Class, and I will let you know what I personally think of the Active by Old Navy line.

They look like great choices for working out. I never even noticed that Old Navy had workout wear!
I see a lot of people wearing compression garments for working out. I’ve never worn any. I’ve been wondering if they’re comfortable, and if they make you sweat or keep you cool.
I need to hit ON again soon… been walking or working out almost everyday. The laundry is getting to be daunting.
