My husband and I have been together almost seven years, and married for over three years. Up until now I never cared for watching Football with him. I have no idea what is was that got me all of a sudden into the sport, but now I’m hooked.
For the past couple of months I’ve watched the games with him on the weekends, and have slowly started to learn more about the game. I tend to ask a million questions, but I think the more you know about how the sport is played, the more you get into the game.
I’ve lived in Washington since I was seven, so without a doubt I’ve always rooted for the Seattle Seahawks. Thankfully my husband grew up here too, and is a Seahawks fan as well. They have played freaking awesome this season, considering we have a rookie quarterback who wasn’t even in the first drafts.
Although Carol made some bad calls this past game against the Falcons, he put together a great team, and next year we are hopefully going to rock it all the way to the Superbowl!
Just because the Seahawks are out of this year’s Super Bowl doesn’t mean we’re going to be missing the big game though.
Since I eat Paleo now, I put together this fun list of Paleo (more Primal actually) finger foods perfect for Super Bowl Sunday.
Let’s eat!

- Cheesy Garlic Cauliflower Bread Sticks
- Paleo Chips & Dip
- Baked Apple (and Banana) Chips
- Paleo Pigs in a Blanket
- Bacon wrapped Jalapeno Poppers
- Football Deviled Eggs
And to add a little bit of Paleo “sweets” into the mix, check out these delicious Grain-Free Cookie Dough Truffles from Frisky Lemon.

Hi, Hanan! Thanks SO much for including my Pigs in a Blanket! I grew up in Juneau, Alaska and I’m a Seahawks fan too! Yesterday was a sad, sad day, but I can’t wait until next year. They’re going to ROCK IT!
Enjoy the Super Bowl this year!

Yum! Deviled eggs are my fav. My husband it’s the opposite. He doesn’t watch so I’ve been out of the football loop for so long. I don’t think Idaho has any football alliances so I wasn’t hardcore. Just partied with the rest of them.

I’m not too interested in the game, but I do like the way you snack!

What in the heck “is” the Paleo diet? I’ve been hearing about it, but I don’t know what it consists of. Whatever it may be, it looks good:)

My husband was the first person to take time to help me understand football. Now I love it. But, of course, not nearly as much as he does. Nice snack list.

Looks great! Thank you for the link :)
I absolutely love these foods and will definitely be making the eggs. Thanks!
You do know that dairy is not allowed on the paleo diet though, right?
Aren’t those eggs fun?! Paleo is no dairy and Primal allows dairy. If you go for organic grass-fed dairy products, and can tolerate diary, I think it’s more of a personal choice. But yes, I do know technically it’s not Paleo.
Ahh – I love those football eggs! After years and years I still don’t have a taste for football but I always have it for Game Day food!
