One of my favorite toys for my girls, one that doesn’t make tons of noise, one that really uses their imagination, is their building toys.
TinkerToy building sets are a part of the K’NEX brand family of toys. A unique set of snap together pieces that they can use to create fun pieces from vehicles, animals, buildings, and transit sets.
They even have an adorable TinkerToy Pink Building Set – where they can create a castle, flower, cat, or other enchanting ideas.
TinkerToy is designed to help children improve their fine motor skills, such as hand-eye coordination. They get the joy of creating something all their own, and we all know how independent they want to be at even a young age.
What I especially love is their ability for their language skills to grow, as they tell stories about their creations.
The girls had the opportunity to tinker around with the TinkerToy Vehicles building set.
The TinkerToy Vehicles set includes 78 plastic pieces including spools, straight rods, bendable rods, wheel, propeller, a build-able figure and more. Each set even comes in a handy box with lid for easy storage and portability.
TinkerToy pieces snap together and stay together, similar to the ones we had growing up, plus unique parts such as bendable rods, wheels, propeller, and eyes so that each child can add their own personality to their creations, and encourage imaginative role play.
The TinkerToy building sets range in price from $27.99-$49.99, which you can buy online or at a local retailer. Connect with KNEX on Facebook for deals and updates.
