Our Fisher Price House Party – Toys For Babies and Toddlers

Last week I had the pleasure of inviting some of our friends over to play with four new Fisher Price toys geared for babies and toddlers.

Laugh & Learn Stride-to-Ride Puppy

This friendly puppy is full of fun ways to encourage and reward babies.

  • Provides sturdy support as baby learns to walk, developing gross motor skills
  • Easy-grasp handles – Boost balance & coordination
  • Sorting blocks & ”feeding” them to puppy encourages eye-hand coordination
  • Music, sounds & motion – help baby understand cause & effect
  • Teaches: Letters, Numbers, Colors & shapes, Greetings, Manners, Opposites, Parts of the body and more!

Laugh & Learn Apptivity Monkey

It’s the best of both worlds for baby—a soft, cuddly friend to hold and hug, plus fun interactive learning with (or without) your iPhone or iPod Touch!

  • Apple app badge
  • Songs, sounds & fun phrases – Enhance sensory development
  • Encourages eye-hand coordination & fine motor skills
  • Interactive fun, without a device too
  • Responds to baby’s touch, teaching about cause & effect
  • Compatible with: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 / 4S, iPod touch® 4th generation (devices not included)

Stand-Up Ballcano

Watch the fun erupt with lights, music, sounds and motion to keep baby busy and active. Six colorful balls roll out of the Ballcano over and over to keep baby’s attention and encourage standing. Baby will enjoy placing them back in and watching them roll down the ramps for fun surprises.

  • Erupting action - Encourages baby to pull up, stand, cruise & crawl, helping develop gross motor skills
  • Rewarding sounds, lights & action help baby understand cause & effect
  • Put & take play - Enhances eye-hand coordination as baby grasps & drops balls on top
  • Music & movement - Full of lively music, bright colors & action to stimulate baby’s senses

Cruise & Groove Ballapalooza

Dancing lights and a brand-new beat get baby movin,’ groovin,’ and growin’—all the way from sit & play, to crawl & chase, to stand & cruise! Sitting babies can drop eight colorful balls onto the ramps to see them race down the chutes. Crawlers can drop & chase balls, and crawl through the gate. And when baby’s ready to stand & cruise, there’s even more ball drop, bop and bounce fun to discover up top. It’s a big ball party from the ground up, with beat-bopping music and six colorful lights that encourage baby to keep going and growing from one stage to the next!

  • Babies can sit, crawl, pull up & stand, developing gross motor skills
  • 8 colorful balls - Grasping & dropping balls gives eye-hand coordination a great workout
  • Teaches about cause & effect as baby activates lights, music & more
  • Dancing lights & musical beats stimulate baby’s senses

All the kids had a blast playing with each of the toys. The Ballapalooza was the biggest hit of them all, which of course was the biggest pain to put together of them all, but well worth it in the end. The only other downside of this one is that you can’t fold it up to put away, and it does take up some space. The Ballcano is smaller and better for smaller play areas.

I liked that the balls for both the Ballapalooza and the Ballcano are interchangeable, however they do NOT fit in the Puppy’s mouth, as we found out the hard way. It’s really easy to get stuff stuck in the Puppy’s mouth, but with a screwdriver you can easily get them out.

Each of these toys you can buy online or at a local retailer, just in time for the holidays. Connect with Fisher Price on Facebook and on Twitter for sales, deals, and product info.

We received the toys mentioned above from Fisher Price on behalf of House Party. Product info from fisherprice.com. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
