Last weekend, before I decided to go Paleo, we had our family over for a Halloween themed dinner. Which included a make your own pizza bar. It was a fun way to get everyone in the kitchen, talking, and having fun.
Everyone got to choose from three varieties from the new Flatout Thin Crust Flatbread Artisan Pizza, which were Rustic White, Heritage Wheat, and Spicy Italian. They also have a Rosemary & Olive Oil, which we didn’t get, but also sounds absolutely delicious.
Flatout Flatbread is a great alternative to traditional pizza crust, especially with little ones. And at only 140-150 calories each, you don’t have to feel like you’re overdoing it.
With a ton of our family and friends over, it was easy to let everyone create their own. We had mini pepperonis, sausage crumbles, onions, mushrooms, olives, chicken, tomatoes, cheese, and of course pizza sauce.
I personally love Buffalo Chicken Pizza. So using the Spicy Italian, I speared some Franks Red Hot Buffalo Sauce on the crust first. Then I topped it with cheese, chicken, onions, and tomatoes. After I let it bake in the oven, which takes just five minutes or so, I topped it with a little bit of ranch and you can even throw some lettuce on it. Delicious!!
After everyone was full of pizza and salad, I wanted to try a dessert pizza. Using the Rustic White, I brushed melted butter on each, tossed some crushed Halloween Oreos on top, baked them (just like the others), and then drizzled some caramel and homemade icing on top. A little orange and yellow sprinkles, and you got yourself an easy, sweet, and scrumptious Oreo Dessert Pizza for everyone.
The perfect end to our Pizza dinner party.
What’s your favorite pizza??
Hope you enjoyed some new pizza ideas from our party, and don’t forget to come back next week, when I’ll have a sweet giveaway from Flatout, you won’t want to miss!
As part of the Flatout Flatbread blogger recipe challenge from The Motherhood, I was provided Flatout Bread and a stipend for my participation. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

oh my I wouldn’t have thought about dessert pizza with this! Yum-looks amazing!!
That looks super fun to do with the kids. I really like all the flavors. I think our family would use two or three of the flavors. It looks like there are about 4 in a package, so I hope you can either freeze or refrigerate them for an extended time so that each person would only have to make a single pizza and nothing would go to waste.
