Nothing is better than waking up, enjoying a cup of coffee and visiting some of my favorite blogs before I start my day. Even better than a cup of coffee is a latte.
Did you know you can actually make one at home, even with coffee? I didn’t. It’s actually pretty easy.
How to Make a Latte at Home
To make your latte, you heat 1 cup milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat, whisking quickly with a wire whisk (or fork) to create foam. Meanwhile, brew super strong coffee, about 1/2 cup. Then, pour the heated milk into a tall mug, holding back the foam with a spoon. Add the brewed coffee and spoon a thin layer of foamed milk over the beverage.
It’s that easy. You can even go a little adventurous and add in flavoring like peppermint, cinnamon, or nutmeg.
I could go on and on about my favorite blogs, but here are just a few that have made the biggest impressions in my life and in my blogging.
Dear Crissy, was the very first blog I started reading 3 years ago. I loved her photography and the fact that she was a mother, a new mother just like myself.
Harper’s Happenings, was another blog I started reading a couple of years ago. I have always loved how down to earth Mandy is and love watching her photography blossom. Her knack for thrift shopping and fashion style has always been an inspiration in my own life.
Glamamom, is one of the few fashion niche blogs I keep up with. Jill was also one of my first readers and commenters here at Lilac City Momma. I have enjoyed her posts about fashion, and about her family as it continues.
How to Be a Dad, is a dad duet that I recently came upon this past year. Their humor towards parenting is awesome and it’s fun to see a dad’s partake in the “mom blogging” world.
Baby Rabies, written by Jill is a bottle of awesome for parenting. She is real, tells it as it is, and has become a phenonium with her parenting quote pics, which I’m sure you have all seen on Facebook and Pinterest.
Jenny on the Spot, was one of the very first vloggers I started watching. She is hilarious and funny in front of the camera, and so much fun to read and watch.
