When it comes to staying on task or even remembering my house chores, I’m really not the greatest. Right now, there is a load of clothes in the washer from this morning that I forgot about. I have to admit that I just have a horrible time trying to remember to do what I need to do.
That is why I have five different notebooks on my desk, a weekly printable grocery list, my weekly menu plan hanging in the kitchen near my recipe book, and most importantly my daily chore chart.
I have all these things, because I need them. I need them to help me try and stay on track. I understand not every family can live on a schedule like we try and do, but it works for our family.
Just recently, I learned about a website called Kid Pointz.
Kid Pointz was created by a father of four, who struggled with the challenges of everyday life with his kids. He recognized that there was a real need for a website focused on child behaviors that could help parents deal with the same issues that he faced in his own home. With the help of his wife, kids, other parents, and parenting and child behavior experts, he set out to develop an online “instruction manual” to help with the wide range of behavior issues that every parent faces as their children grow and develop. Kid Pointz is geared with all different kinds of approaches and solutions, so you can find the one that works best for you and your family.
Carleigh, my oldest, starts Kindergarten in just a few weeks.
While she has been going to preschool the past couple of years, to me, this is her first real year of school. New teachers, new friends and students, and also new rules. So I really want to make sure that we can guide her in a positive way. Whether it’s getting ready for school the night before, in the morning, or when she gets home.
That is why I was so excited to stumble upon these Printable Kids Charts. Specifically the charts for daily routines, chores, and homework.
All Kid Pointz printable charts are completely free for members, and signing up is always FREE!
When you’re a member, you get unlimited printing of all Kid Pointz charts, certificates and behavior tools. Plus, you can use their online Kid Pointz reward system to set up customized rules or behaviors, assign points and create rewards to motivate positive behaviors in your kids.
I already have my eye on a few printable charts to print out, laminate, and hang in her room. I’m hoping these charts will be great tools in our coming school year!
Do you already use charts at home? If not, make sure you check out the Kid Pointz website.
This post is my application for the Kid Pointz blogger search. Compensation was received, however all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wow this sounds like a great site. I’m gonna have to check it out. I have been looking for some sort of chore haft for Chloe.
How great to have something to help the kids keep organized. I also really love that it’s free. =]

I love this idea. I have Mommy Brain in the worst way, which has set the poor example for my kids. I think my 5 year old needs a chore chart or a way to remember each thing he needs to do every morning!

I tried the chart thing some years ago but it was an epic fail in my house. I’m sure it was my fault. I just have not learned to be consistent enough with charts. I think it’s great if you can pull it off and definitely beneficial for your children.

Those look so helpful! I definitely need something like this especially on a day like today when I got the kids to gymnastic 30 minutes early, which sounds good except that I thought we were late!

Are you still using these? If so how’s it working out for you? Logan starts school in the fall.
Not these particular ones, but I printed out “family rules”, “daily routine”, and “chores” that are on the kitchen wall. It does help us stay on track!!
