What is more fun then learning while having fun? Nothing.
So when it came time to trying out a couple of new products from LeapFrog, I didn’t think twice. That’s because LeapFrog has always been known to create incredibly fun games and toys for kids, all while they explore, learn, and create.
Even more fun then trying out some new toys, is trying them out with friends. So we had some of our friends over, a few weeks ago, for a playdate and let the kids go wild.
They had a blast playing with the new Touch Magic Learning Bus and Touch Magic Rockin’ Guitar. Both of which are hands on learning for toddlers and preschoolers.
The LeapFrog Touch Magic Rockin’ Guitar, fits perfectly in their little hands and is super lightweight. Each guitar came with a neck strap just like a real guitar, which you can easily click onto the guitar. The Rockin’ Guitar teaches three core tools to children.
Music - Making and listening to music can increase a child’s creativity as well as support language, math, and physical development.
Social play – As children get older, they interact more often with one another during play–making things, dramatizing, or playing games.
Motor Skills - allow children to coordinate the muscles needed to pull, push, grasp, point, and write.
The songs themselves are simple and repetitive. After just a couple of days, both my girls already know many of the words to the songs.
The Touch Magic Learning Bus is more for toddlers, but even my five year old likes to play with it. It is also very lightweight and easy for even little kids to carry around. The Learning Bus has a multitude of learning tools for kids including:
Letter names and sounds - To read independently, children must understand the relationship between the sounds in spoken words and the letters that represent those sounds.
Early vocabulary - Children expand their listening vocabulary by matching pictures to words.
Music - Making and listening to music can increase a child’s creativity as well as support language, math, and physical development.
Animals - Even very young children can begin to categorize animals by species, imitate their sounds and learn interesting facts about them.
Over all, both LeapFrog Toys were a success with the little ones and moms. They are easy to play with and are pretty durable, which for me is very important when having multiple kids and playdates often.
Everyone went home with LeapFrog coupons and coloring pages – I’d call that, another successful playdate for us!
