Regression in Weight Loss

So this past week, I did horribly.

I didn’t make it to the gym, but one day.

I ate CRAP.

I felt like CRAP.

I’m now sick.

It pretty much just sucked.

You know what, I’m over it. I hate feeling like crap, and I did it to myself.

Today, starts the Mamavation 2 week challenge, and it couldn’t have come in a better time. I’m ready to get back in gear with my weight loss. Surprisingly, even after my bad week last week, I didn’t gain any weight. I did lose a tiny bit, which is funny.

Today is also the start of Mamavation Mom applications for campaign #13. If you’re interested in losing weight and changing your lifestyle, here is a great place to get your butt kicked into gear.

This Week, since I’m following along with the challenge -

  • Drink 100 oz water a day
  • 10,000 steps a day
  • Gym 3x this week
  • Circuits daily
  • NO SWEETS for two weeks.
  • No eating out.

We have a trip to Seattle planned this month, where we will be eating out the whole weekend, so one of my goals until then is no eating out or making/buying sweets.

What’s your goals for this week?

About Hanan Webster

In 2010, Hanan went from talking about her parenting up’s and down’s on private forums to discussing them with literally everyone on the internet with her blog lilac city momma. Since then, she’s had the opportunity to talk about parenting, cooking, photography, marriage, crafts, faith, and so much more. She also shares her opinions on everyday products from food to baby gear, and everything in between. With three little girls all under six, there is never a dull moment in their home. When she’s not blogging she’s chatting about parenting and life in general on Facebook and Twitter, or wasting way too much time on Pinterest.

We all have those kind of weeks. Kudos to you for getting right back to it and we all know that you CAN do it. Great goals that you have for the next two weeks. Good luck with the 2 week challenge. Have a great week!

  6. Good goals for the week. Don’t beat yourself up for last week, you learned something. Eating like crap makes you feel like crap! :)

  7. Hanan, if I could reach through the screen and give you a hug… I would. :)

I have been there and honestly know many former MM’s who also have. Readjustment is a prickly pear. Don’t beat yourself up… just go back with what you learned. You still have the support. Reach out if you need anything.

My advice is, be easy on yourself. Make sure you make it fun. Find a balance with family and the healthy lifestyle. I know you will do great. You ARE a rockstar. :)

  8. I find sometimes those bad weeks show up a little later or if I get right on top of it my body just purges the excess calories and it will actually give me a boost in my weight loss. I know it’s weird.

Good luck on the #2weekchallenge! I’m doing it right alongside you!

  10. I like your clean living plan to prepare for your Seattle trip. Luckily Seattle has a lot of healthy food accessibility so it should not be too hard to avoid overindulging there too.
