If you’re looking for a Prenatal Vitamin Supplement that doesn’t involve taking horse pills or a chewable, then Premama Prenantal Vitamin Supplement Mix is probably right for you.
Premama is a prenatal vitamin drink with important nutrients including DHA, Folic Acid, and Iron. It is also packed with Ginger, Vitamin B6 and Magnesium to which help moms with nausea and digestive relief.
They recently sent me a week’s worth of samples to taste and try. I’m not pregnant right now. I would probably cry, if I were. However, taking a Prenatal like Premama, is important before you get pregnant, when you are pregnant, and if you’re breastfeeding.
I was a little disappointed at first, mainly because they claim Premama to be flavorless. However, I mixed it into my 24 oz water bottle that I use everyday and it diffidently had a taste, and not a pleasing one. I couldn’t finish even half of it.
I don’t drink juice often, but I did try it in my milk and it was perfectly fine. So as long as you put it into a flavored drink, you won’t taste it at all. They don’t recommend putting it into soda or any hot beverage though. Juice, milk, or iced tea is fine, and you should consume it within 5 minutes after mixing.
Premama does contains traces of milk and soybean. However it is a nut-free, gluten-free, egg-free, fish-free, shellfish-free, sulfite-free, and tree nut-free food.
You can purchase a month’s supply of Premama online for $25 + $4.95 for shipping. That is about the same price as most prenatals out there. And if you order two or more boxes, it’s free shipping.
