Shabby Apple is an online boutique of women’s fashions, including dresses, skirts, blouses, jewelry, accessories, and more. I have been eyeing their store for some time now, and along with losing weight, comes a little more confidence, especially in what I wear.
With BlogHer coming up shortly, I knew I wanted to find a dress that was not only comfortable and pretty, but one that would be nursing friendly as well, since I will have my seven month old with me.
It was a little challenging, to have to pass up some of the other dress designs that were not nursing friendly. I mean I instantly fell in love with all their dresses. I love the vintage look and feel of their collections, and the fact that each collection has its only style as well.
Here are just a few dresses, that instantly caught my eye.

I think I spent at least an hour trying to decide which dress I was going to pick, when finally, I came upon the Ballerina dress. I instantly fell in love with the color, the way it was cut (which makes it very easy to nurse in), and the way it sits on the model.
After reading through all the reviews, I chose a large. Normally, I would go for an extra large, but this style dress should fit snug and hug your curves.
The material is much thicker, then I had anticipated, but not super heavy, and it still flows very nicely.
There are only two things about the dress I don’t really like. One, being the puffy sleeves. I think it’s more of a preference then anything. Looking at my photo, it doesn’t look all that bad to me. Also, the chest part is a little baggy, and considering I’m big chested, you can see it was still a little baggy.
What I love most about the dress, besides being nursing friendly, is the stomach area. The way it naturally bunches, hides your tummy and rolls.
Overall, I’m very happy with the Ballerina dress from Shabby Apple, and if you like it too, you can purchase it online on their website, on sale, for just $54.
