So last night I was sitting on the computer (shocking, right?), surfing Pinterest, and drooling over all the food porn.
I came across a pin for tacos. But not just regular tacos. Instead of using tortillas, they used lettuce, as the wrap.
HELLO. Why did I not think of this before?? I mean yes, I have seen the Thi lettuce wraps before and even the buffalo chicken ones, but for some reason, I just never thought to do that for just regular tacos.
Seeing that, got me thinking. It’s the little things like that, that can really have a huge impact overall. Not just food either. It can be about your health, exercise, activities, or even words.
So, that is going to be a new goal of mine from now on. Try and change something little, that will make a bigger difference overall.
When we eat tacos, I will use lettuce instead of tortillas. Same for sandwiches.
Instead of chips and dip, we will have veggies and dip, and maybe a few crackers instead.
Instead of juice we can make flavored water.
When cooking, I will replace the oil for applesauce, or avocado, and greek yogurt for the sour cream or mayo.
If I want something “sweet”, I have to make it myself. Nothing store bought.
I’m sure I can think of more everyday, but these are just a few for now.
