Plant Stem Cells — New Hope for Aging Skin #EclosBeauty

This post brought to you by éclos Skin Care. All opinions are 100% mine.

When I hear the word “anti-aging” my first impression is that it is for older women. I’m only 25 years old, so I don’t consider myself at that point in life yet. Sadly, with our environment these days taking care of your body inside and out is very important, at ANY AGE.

éclos Skin Care is a plant based line of beauty products for women (or men). It uses apple stem cells extracted from the rare Swiss apple, Uttwiler Spätlauber. Researchers have found that these apple stem cells shows an ability to stimulate skin stem cells, which encourage aging skin to behave more like younger skin.

I was sent the éclos Anti-Aging Skin Care Starter Kit to try for a week.  It included sample sizes of all of the different items in the product line. The starter kit, valued at $19.99 contains each of the following items:

  • Anti-Aging Facial Cleanser Skin Prep
  • Anti-Aging Cellular Activator Face Serum
  • Anti-Aging Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream
  • Anti-Aging Restorative Eye Cream
  • Anti-Aging Instant Radiance Facial Scrub
  • Anti-Aging Skin Renewal Clay Mask

Each of the éclos products smell absolutely wonderful. Scented with a clean and fresh blend of all-natural essential oils including rosewood, ylang ylang, palmarosa, cardamom, and geranium.

Plus, what’s even better about éclos, is the fact that none of their products contain parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic dyes, or petro-chemicals – which are potentially harmful synthetic chemicals that come from petroleum. Another words, none of the bad stuff.

The hardest thing for me, has been to remember to use them daily. They recommend you use most of the products each twice daily. While I didn’t always remember to do that, I tried to stick to a routine instead. I tried the Clay Mask twice, each before taking a shower. While in the shower, I would then use the Facial Scrub. Which was probably my favorite product of them all. You can really feel it scrubbing away at all the dead skin.

After getting out of the shower, I would use the Regenerative Cream, then the Face Serum. Lastly, I would apply a tiny bit of Eye Cream around my eyes.  For the days when I would just wake up and go, I would just apply a little of the Skin Prep before my makeup – which is just eye liner, eye shadow, and mascara. Since I don’t wear any type of cover up or powder (even though I probably should) I’m not sure how their product feels or looks with either of those on.

Although I have not been using éclos product for very long, I do really appreciate how my skin feels right after applying. I haven’t noticed a huge difference in just a couple of weeks, but I wouldn’t doubt that after time you would.

éclos Skin Care products can be purchased through online retailers, or in most local retail stores. Their products range in price from $12.99-$24.99.

Thanks to éclos, one Lilac City Momma reader will win a éclos Skin Care sample kit like the one I mentioned above.
