For those of you thinking, “What the hell, she has another kid?” I’m talking about our puppy young adult dog. They grow up fast too.

We have had Charlie now for almost a year and a half. Heaven knows how many times I have tried to convince my husband to find a new home for her. Not that I don’t like her, or that she is a bad dog – because she is a great dog, but if you have a dog you know how much work is put into having one. It’s pretty much like having ANOTHER child in your home.

It’s a lot of work.

For the longest time this is what we used to put Charlie’s food in.

Pretty right? It’s plastic, and she loves to chew on it and run through the house with it. Almost every other night we were trying to figure out where she had put it. Thankfully, we don’t have that problem anymore.

This is her new food AND water bowl. It’s called a Neater Feeder. It’s a little more expensive then just your typical set of metal bowls you find at the store. What makes it so unique is the fact that it “sits” in a plastic container that helps catch any food being tossed outside the bowl and more importantly the water which easily splashes out.

I don’t know how many times I had stepped in water, on the kitchen tile from her old water bowl. Not anymore, thanks to this great design.

We have the Larger Neater Feeder, but they also make ones for cats and smaller dogs. They even have a size chart, if you’re not sure which one would be best for your dog.

My husband, who has never really cared for anything I have reviewed in the past actually told me that he really likes this product. Well worth to invest in one.

Having three kids in the house, you can imagine our house is somewhat filled with toys. It can be a little challenging to keep Charlie away from their toys. She usually gets a hold of one or two each week, unless I have dog toys just for her.

Pet Smart just partnered with Toys ‘R’ Us  for a whole line of dog toys. How fun is that? All the toys are bright and colorful. Some are plush, some are made with rope, and others have squeakers inside. Charlie LOVES the ones with squeakers.

The only thing I hate about any dog toys, is the fact that she usually destroys them in a matter of hours. For that reason, I don’t buy them often. So for her, they are a treat none-the-less.
