Build-A-Bear Workshop launched a new line just in time for this summer’s harvest, their Farmers’ Market Collection! Included in the round up is a cow, horse, pig, and sheep, as well as online exclusives llama and billy goat. Two Farmers’ Market smallfrys will also be available – a pig and cow. They are all absolutely adorable.
Along with the farm animals comes a wonderful harvest of farm fresh vegetables, some farming clothes like overalls and gingham printed outfits and a John Deer tractor.
My favorite part about their Farmers’ Market Collection is it gives me, mom, a chance to be silly with the kids. I get to imitate or try and figure out the animal sounds and play along with my kids while somewhat educating them on the animal’s part in our everyday lives. I also love the vegetables as toys because some kids just don’t think of their vegetables as very cool or are limited in their knowledge of what things are (obviously depending on age – I have a 1yr old and a 3yr old).
We have the 16 in. cow and it makes such a great cuddle buddy and it’s just the right size for everybody in our family. It’s built for love – strong and durable, but it’s also made for comfort – squishy and soft.
