So last night, they had a Family Night event for the school in which Carleigh attends for Head Start. Since the weather was decent enough, we decided to take the girls.
We started out riding some of the Pavilion Amusement Rides, which Carleigh just had a blast at. One ride, she went on ALL BY HERSELF (when did this happen??) with a friend from school. I stood there just freaking out and hoping she wouldn’t fall out. It’s the mom in me, what can I say. On a few rides Kendall was too short to go on. I had to distract her so she wouldn’t get too upset. Which wasn’t fun, but maybe next year they can start to ride them together.
After an hour or so, we walked down to the Spokane Falls Skyrides.
Believe or not, we have lived in Spokane now for almost 5 years and have yet to go on one of the Skyrides at Riverfront Park. Even my husband, who grew up here in Spokane has never been on one.
It was about 30 minutes total from start to finish. Carleigh said it was too slow, but I think it gives you plenty of time to look around you and capture photos.
Overall, we had a super fun family night in downtown Spokane.
You can pick up a Riverfront Park Day Pass for only $16.95 + tax. Which includes, unlimited rides on the Carousel and Pavilion rides, plus an IMAX exclusive feature and discounts in the park.

That looks like a lot of fun!

Looks like you had a wonderful time! You know what? We live SO close and have never done that with our children. Maybe we will this summer!
