I’m not on a diet. I’m going through a life change, and because of that I’m changing what I put into my body as well as my kids’. Just because I am choosing fruit over cake and ice cream, or vegetables over chips…doesn’t mean I have to give up my “fuel” in the morning.
I have given up soda. I haven’t had an alcoholic drink in over a year, but I WILL NOT give up my coffee.
If you would have asked me just a few months ago, what kind of coffee do I drink or prefer, I would have said a Mocha from Dutch Bros. Do you know how many calories are in that? Or how much sugar is in it? It’s pretty much a meal and a half.
Since then, we have bought a Keurig Single Cup machine and I haven’t had to buy a cup of coffee since then. Instead, I go for the liquid creamers at the store.
Now, my first choice has always been the flavored ones like White Mocha, Vanilla Caramel, or anything similar. They are good, don’t get me wrong. But have you ever read the labels on those creamers?
Half of that stuff, I can’t even pronounce.
They have four delicious flavors including, Vanilla, Low-fat Vanilla (which is new), Caramel, and Sweet Cream. If I can go from mocha’s to coffee with just 2 tabelspoons of Natural Bliss Creamer, then seriously anyone can!
