What says summer snack more then Popsicle’s right?
Recently, my family was in town to visit and my grandma brought me a bunch of kitchen gadgets, which included a set of Popsicle makers. Of course once the girls saw that they kept asking…and asking…and asking if we could make some Popsicle’s.
Well, I have been so busy lately that we haven’t gotten around to using them.
Until now!
Recently, I was introduced to Silk’s new Fruit&Protein drink. It combines delicious all natural fruit juice and protein to make the perfect morning drink or better yet afternoon snack for the kids!

I took to Walmart a couple of days ago (with my little shopping buddy of course) to shop for some items for tonight’s Bunko party I am hosting (and so looking forward to). While there, I made sure to pick up some Silk Fruit&Protein. They have three different flavors out including, Mango Peach, Mixed Berry, and Strawberry Banana.
Later that evening. after dinner we skipped the blender and used Silk Fruit&Protein in our new Popsicle molds.
Plopped them in the freezer over night and they were done.
The girls had a chance to taste test them the next day after lunch. I wasn’t sure how they would come out, but they froze really well and the kids had no complaints.
Can you tell the girls loved them?
Such an easy and healthy afternoon snack!

I have seen this in our local store and have wondered about it. I am going to pick up a carton and try it!

That is a fantastic idea!! I love the Silk Chocolate but I’ve never tried the fruit and protein. I love the idea of turning these into popsicles. Where did your grandma get those molds? I’ve looked everywhere but can never find any.
