The No-Cry Picky Eater Solution Book

The No-Cry Picky Eater Solution by Elizabeth Pantley was a tricky little guide to help me get my little ones to eat and eat healthier without even knowing it. It was also an eye opener to the decisions that we make and the repercussions they may have down the road depending on the foods we eat today, and I want it to be for the long haul. Let’s just say, we eat a lot of butter and have you seen what is in coffee creamer? Eek!

While my three year old prefers carrots and celery sticks (even without dip) to ice cream and candy bars, I think my ten month old daughter is going to make up for all of his easiness. This book helped me learn to choose my battles with what we’re eating, how to be patient when they say no, what choices to make while shopping, and balance and respect for food and the dinner table.

It covers everything from the obvious like, my three year old’s melt downs might be due to the fact he just needs a darn snack. To the less obvious, that your child’s stomach is not the same size as yours, that they probably are getting enough to eat. My current mission is now to enlist daddy to read it so we’re on the same page because the fundamentals are genius.

My favorite part in the book is the discussion in sneaking in flavors and spices in foods until the picky eater’s taste buds adjust to them. This is even a great idea for adults, as I just might apply this to daddy’s distaste for “fall flavors”.

Don’t be hesitant due to the previous drag on of “what to feed and how to feed” books. This book isn’t a list or all boring and factual, it’s easy to relate to and understand. I definitely would recommend The No-Cry Picky Eater Solution to anyone who has a picky eater in the house or is just looking for a little improvement in their food choices but isn’t sure how. We make good choices in whole as a family but there are definitely questions I had but didn’t know how to ask them. This book has answered my in-askable questions.

You can purchase a copy of The No-Cry Picky Eater Solution through amazon.com for $10.98.

I would like to thank Elizabeth for providing me with the product mentioned above. No other compensation was received, and as always my opinions are completely my own.
