Don’t get me wrong, as much as I would do anything for my kids and especially the baby on the way, having to take my Prenatal’s is a pain in the butt. It might be easier for some, especially if you are already used to taking daily pills but for me it is not. Not only remembering to take them, but dealing with the taste is overwhelming too. When you hit that “morning sickness” phase, there is just no way I am getting one down.
So you know when I had the chance to try out Vitafusion Prenatal Gummy Vitamins I was just a tad excited. Seriously, it’s like eating candy. Chewy, sweet, and full of vitamins. What’s not to love?
They’re easy on the stomach and provide expectant mothers a multi-vitamin formula with an excellent source of folic acid and DHA. Made with natural colors and flavors, they’re a great-tasting alternative to large, hard-to-swallow tablets.
For me, the only down side of the gummy’s was the lack of Iron in them. Being borderline anemic I need Iron, so I will have to supplement with an Iron pill as well. That and having to fight off the kids, because they want some of mommy’s “candy” too!
