Craft time: Dyed Noodle Necklaces

As much as I would love to do more crafts with the girls, we never really get around to them. Well, this is a super easy to make craft that the kids will love!

What you need:

- Tubular Pasta (such as macaroni or elbow)
- water
- food coloring
- string
- tape

What to do:

1. First thing to do is fill 3-4 bowls with water, about half full. Then add the food coloring to each bowl, to create your favorite colors. Add a small handful of pasta to each bowl and let them soak for at least 4 hours (or longer). After they have had some time to absorb the colors, drain the pasta and let set over night to harden.

2. Your ready to make your necklace. Cut a piece of string (we used fishing line this time) to fit around child’s neck. Tape one end of the string to the table and hold the other end with your hand to strand each pasta on.

3. When your done, tie the ends of the string together and try on!
