What I learned after spending 3 hours in the Emergency Room

No matter how serious you think you kid’s injury is, you still have to wait for hours.

Being a hospital, you would think their toys would be cleaner.

The “Do Not Park Here” zone gets thrown out the window when all the parking spots are full.

Oh and don’t bother to ask a doctor (nurse, someone that worked there) where to park if it’s full. They don’t know.

If you’re curious as to why we were at the emergency room, Miss Kendall fell backwards in her booster (that’s attached to the dinning room chair) and hit her head on the kitchen tile floor.

Poor girl has a goose egg bump and slight bleeding, but it looks like no concussion or other symptoms. So yes, three hours of waiting for them to say she looks fine, just keep an eye on her (well no shit). She’s my little #hardheaded girl!

My phone takes crappy pictures, so it’s a little hard to see it.

About Hanan Webster

In 2010, Hanan went from talking about her parenting up’s and down’s on private forums to discussing them with literally everyone on the internet with her blog lilac city momma. Since then, she’s had the opportunity to talk about parenting, cooking, photography, marriage, crafts, faith, and so much more. She also shares her opinions on everyday products from food to baby gear, and everything in between. With three little girls all under six, there is never a dull moment in their home. When she’s not blogging she’s chatting about parenting and life in general on Facebook and Twitter, or wasting way too much time on Pinterest.

  1. Oh goodness, that sounds like no fun at all. I have had to take a trip to the ER with my son when he was 1.5 years old for a dog bite, and we had a similar experience. I sure hope she's doing better now!!
